We are one of the biggest bag manufacturers and exporters in South Africa.Sunny Bag (Pty) Ltd. (Reg. No. 95/13617/07/) was established in 1995 and forms part of a group of companies which is owned and managed by Taiwanese shareholders residing in Botshabelo, near Bloemfontein, South Africa. The four shareholders, who personally run and manage the companies, all have more then 25 years experienced (Taiwan and South Africa) in the manufacture of woven PP bags. The company belonging to the group all manufacturer woven PP materials, which is then sold to various leading companies in Africa, which they turn in to manufacture bags there from.

The shareholders of the group decided to enter mining bags, fertilizer bags, salt, flour, grain, chemical and minerals bags & Bulk bags market and for this reason Sunny Bag was established. New machines to equip the new plant were purchased from overseas. These machines constitute the most up grade technology in this field. Since being established Sunny Bag has acquired a fair share of the market, and for this reason it was necessary for the shareholders to import additional automatic cutting and printing machines. The new plant to manufacturing bulk bags (JUMBO BAGS) was established in March 1998. Thereafter during last year latest machinery introduces to upgrade and increase production.

The group's factories presently manufacture in excess of 5 million meters of PP materials per month, as stated before, is sold off to numerous leading packaging companies in domestic and international market. Who presently supply leading affiliate companies with polypropylene bags.

The manufacturing process is mechanized and good quality control is applied throughout. Running at 60% capacity, Sunny Bag is easily able to convert all the cloth manufactured by the group's factories into bags of various sizes, thickness, colures and weight.

The various sizes of bags manufactured by our company have been sent to SABS for tolerance/drop tests and complied with all the standards laid down.
